How to use GIF to MP4

  1. Choose a file from your device or drag it onto the upload area.
  2. Export one animation cycle as H.264 video. Transparent areas become black; odd dimensions are padded by one pixel.
  3. Export, preview the result, and download your file.

Files stay on your device. The processing engine downloads on first use (about 31 MB). Processing speed and available memory depend on your device. Keep this tab open while exporting; cancel at any time to stop processing.

Frequently asked questions

Will my GIF keep looping?
The MP4 contains one animation cycle. Repetition depends on the video player or app where you share it.
Does MP4 preserve transparency?
No. Transparent areas become black. The animation is encoded as H.264, so colors can change slightly.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Processing happens on your device. A roughly 31 MB processing engine downloads on first use and can be cached by your browser.
What are the size and browser limits?
Use a recent browser with WebAssembly and a file up to 100 MB. Large or long videos may exceed device memory; shorter clips work best. MP4, MOV and WebM codec support varies, and some sources cannot play in the preview even when they can be processed.
