Frequently asked questions

What image format can I download?
Frames are saved as lossless PNG images at the decoded video resolution.
How do I choose a frame?
Play or scrub the preview, then use its current time or enter a timestamp in seconds. The export uses the first decoded frame at or after that timestamp.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Processing happens on your device. A roughly 31 MB processing engine downloads on first use and can be cached by your browser.
What are the size and browser limits?
Use a recent browser with WebAssembly and a file up to 100 MB. Large or long videos may exceed device memory; shorter clips work best. MP4, MOV and WebM codec support varies, and some sources cannot play in the preview even when they can be processed.
